Experienced American Hollis Thompson (203-SF-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al Ahli Jeddah and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 32-year old had a double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Al Wehda (#7, 9-10) with 45-point margin 101-56. Al Ahli maintains the 4th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Al Ahli will need more victories to improve their 15-4 record. In the team's last game Thompson had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He turned to be Al Ahli's top player in his first season with the team. Georgetown University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Thompson is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Bosnia and Herzegovina center Markus Loncar (213-C-1996) of Al Taawoun. Loncar impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Taawoun was edged by the higher-ranked Al Safa (#9, 6-13) 81-80. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Al Taawoun is still at the dead bottom 12th position. 19 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Loncar is a newcomer at Al Taawoun and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.6ppg (#9). He also registered 15.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Josh Nicholas (190-G-1998) of Deba (#11). Nicholas got into 30-points club by scoring 37 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . He was a key player of Deba, leading his team to a 107-98 win against slightly higher-ranked Al Khaleej (#10, 5-14). Deba can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-17 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Nicholas has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.8ppg (2nd best).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
